quilt for ans

Ans moved to her new house.
It is located on IJburg a hole new part of Amsterdam.
It is a kind of island, they created new land in the water.

We want to make a little quilt for the new house.
Isabeau made the houses, I did the sashings and Ellen the quilting.

After some troubles with the internet I am back
This quilt I made for a coming baby,
on the Machine.
The machine is not my big friend , so it is quite a thing for me.

these 2 pictures I made in the taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai. There are 4 of them in the corners of the lobby of the hotel. the other 2 were impossible to photograph.

the funny thing is that I saw this floor 8 years ago
in the shop of the Calico mMuseum in ahmedabad
now I was back it was not allowed to take pictures again.
So we draw it on paper.
then we came back in our hotel and there was the same floor.
