silent people and amsterdam

Near My Mothers home I saw these people in the field, I asked what it was. the farmer told me,
they had a theatre weekend.
In Finland are 500 people in a field called silent people.
Here 50 of them

Wil ( not so zen in Paris) Stayed a few days with me, we went to the

NOORDERMARKT in the town centre of Amsterdam .

I saw this in a booth,

You can buy cookies in metal boxes from all kind of towns by us as a souvenir

the salesmen sells them to collectors of old thin boxes.

 

 

I saw this on my way the sun in the windows of the big buildings from the ZUIDAS.

 

 

new Quilt ideas

It is a long time ago that I posted something on my blog.
This had to do with the new way of blogger,
not all new things are good!!!
 I have a lot of troubleswith it.

Tomorrow  I see Lucy and ask her a few things.

This summer, made blocks for the quiltretreat by Gwen Marston this autum.

In the QUILTMANIA NR 90   this idea I liked  ,
I have boxes of squares so I tried

NEW BOOK: MARY ELIZABETH AND BIZ!!!!

I received the new book of my quilting friends Mary Elizabeth Kinch and Biz Storms.
They are such a nice ladies,
I met them several times.
Maybe I will see them again in Michigan later this year.

Last week my cat Saartje passed away, A half year ago she had her operation, Now the tumor was back.

Singer Featherweight day

Last Sunday we had a great day. Atelier Bep In Hall (the east of the Netherlands)
had organised a featherweightday we had with 24 machines.
This was the littele bag we made.
Quilting Jeannet gave a show and tell. here are some of her Quilts
