2 quilt projects

I did a lot of quilting the last few months

I made a mini quilt with baskets the size of the quilt is 27x27 cm( 10x10 inch)
In Leiden we had the Textiel Festival last week,
The dutch quilters guild ( Quilters Gilde) had the yearly mini quiltshow,
my quilt was there.



And I finished my yoko saito bag,here you see me with my friend Ellen ,
We did the class together by Marleen Wijn.

medaillon quilt from Isabeau

A lot of Quilters asked Isabeau for a picture of her quilt, it was in the magazine of Quiltmania number 73 of 2009.

TOKYO QUILT FESTIVAL 2010

I went with 11 quilting friends from the Netherlands with an english group
to Japan (www.japanjourneys.co.uk)

The Dutch are well known for making new land in water
In Amsterdam they made IJBURG.
Two quilting friends of my are living there,

I am making a Bag from the book of Yoko Saito
I have it in French From Quilt Mania
I have a lot of books from Yoko Saito
She is a big inspiration for me.
I like the japanese fabrics from Daiwabo and Le Chien.

Quilt for Pepijn

I made this quilt for Pepijn, the grand son of one of my friends.
Here you see him on the quilt.
