Today I went to the shop in Amsterdam of Den Haan en Wagenmakers
to pickup the reproduction fabric of my family quilt.
It is from Windham by Petra Prins
The name is Josephine
The quilt is mentioned in the Book of An Moonen, The History of the Dutch quilt
( de geschiedenis van de nederlandse quilt)
The quilt will be on display in may in Veldhoven ( the Netherlands)
Mag het in het Nederlands??? Geweldige stoffen zijn het he, ik zag dat je het patroon van Windham had, ook erg leuk, ik heb de stoffen net besteld. Mooie quilt ook die je laat zien.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely quilts, they are just dazzling. And your fabrics are beautiful as well, it is such a treat to get a new assortment, isn't it?

ReplyDeleteGroetjes,
I just found your blog and I just love this quilt! I am a brand new quilter- I have only just started sewing about 6 months ago and am already working on my first quilt (it is nothing as beautiful as this for sure and filled with mistakes since I am teaching myself). May I ask what the fabric collage is for and how do you use it? I can't wait to see what you come up with and to read your next blog!
