New Quilts

This last to weeks I did a lot here you see the results this block will be the center of the madaillion quilt ,
I am going to make at Gwen Marston Quilt Retreat in the fall.

This little quilttop I made for my mother.
With the Josephine Fabric From Petra Prins by Windham
My mother owns The Antique quilt,From 1800,
which was the inspiration for the fabric.

Quiltexpo from Trudy wassink

Today we went to the Quiltexpo of Trudy Wassink in Rozendaal.
It is a small village in the east of the Netherlands near Arnhem.
It is beatiful there.
You can go till 19 may.

In the park near the church we had our lunch.

I was In veldhoven last week. There were a lot of quilts this is a small expo of two Quilters from the Guestcollection.
These 4 quilts made me happy.

This is the new book of Gwen Marston, it is great.

I am collecting mine and Isabeau's antique quilts.
Total of 17 ,they will be on display in Veldhoven from 3- 6 of may.
The pile is in my room and the cats like it.
A friend will keep them company so this time, is not so bad that I am away.

Always when I go somewhere with my suitcase one of my cats is sleeping in it.
I think it is the way they protest that I leave.
This time I went to POUR L'AMOUR DU FIL in NANTES .
I have to tell them that I go next week to VELDHOVEN with the antique quilts of Isabeau and myself,
But a friend is staying in my house so they have company.

12 1/2 year of the friendshipsroundrobbin

The round started in 1999.
Till now we had 9 rounds.
I was a member for in round 6,7,8.
It took too much time, so I ended it.
Last weekend we had our reunion
