THE SHOW OF THE DUTCH QUILTERS GUILD.

Last week I went to Alkmaar to see the quiltshow of the Dutch Guild.

There I saw some beautifull quilts I want to share with you.

When I saw this Quilt I thought....

It looks like my antique Quilt.
I can imagine that she made the pieces much bigger.

Tomorrow I go on the way to Saint Marie aux Mines.

Abeltje gets company from a friend

  2. thank you for sharing the quilt show with us! I love so many of the quilts but your antique quilt has me in awe! its a beautiful quilt I had to look at it close to see the block and how it was made. The fabrics in this antique must be amazing.
I am assuming those are apples appliquéd on the cheddar love this quilt.
its hard to see is something stamped onto the cheddar fabric or is that in the fabric?
    what a fun quilt.
