Lake district England

I was on a short holiday in England Cumbria ( the Lake District) With a friend , We are friends for more than 40 years.
We stayed in a Bed and Breakfast near Windermere.
It is a beautiful part of the UK

Near Kendal is LEVENS HAll House and Gardens
the Elizabethan mansion is built aroud 13th century
the gardens are famous they are from ca 1694.

we went to the Quaker Tapestry Exhibition in Kendal( Cumbria)
the picture of the Amsterdam part of the tapestry is on their leaflet.

  4. I went there in 1975 with a high school group, and I remember how beautiful it was. Henry was certainly posing for you. What a gentleman! I love tuxedo cats..I have one too. Louise
